How to Use
HARIO Teabag Pot Tea Hat
Boil fresh water and fill the glass pot. If heating the water in a microwave, heat without a teabag and with the lid on.
- Water temperature of 95° C is recommended
Gently place the teabag in the water and put the lid on.
When putting the lid on, pass the string of the teabag through the notch in the lid on the handle side of the glass pot. Twist the lid until the strainer portion of the lid is aligned with the spout of the glass pot.
Wait until the tea is the desired strength and then pull the string of the teabag upward through the notch and secure it in the slit at the top of the lid. Then secure the tag so that it will not get in the way when pouring the tea.
Pour the tea into the cup as it is.
Be sure to hold the handle of the glass pot. Carrying it by its lid may cause the lid to come off and the glass pot to fall. If reheating in a microwave, remove the teabag and put the lid on before microwaving.
